The JAM Assist Hook is designed with a strong focus on hooking performance,
aimed at reliably catching targets that follow and engage the jig during the fall.
Its curved point design helps improve hook-up rates and reduces missed fall bites.
Strength, Penetration, and Balance
The hook features a flattened construction to ensure high strength,
while SEAFLOOR CONTROL’s proprietary finishing balance helps reduce the risk of tearing the fish’s mouth.
Excellent penetration performance makes it suitable for a wide range of species,
including amberjack, yellowtail kingfish, yellowtail, grouper, and various bottom fish.
🔴 Red Assist Line with Fluorocarbon
Red is a color whose appearance changes depending on depth and available light underwater.
Based on experiments conducted in collaboration with JAMSTEC,
SEAFLOOR CONTROL has adopted red for its assist lines, taking these characteristics into account.
In addition, the assist line incorporates fluorocarbon,
providing moderate stiffness and helping to reduce tangling around the hook.
