🎣 Japanese Tilefish (Amadai) – Target High-Class Bottom Fish with Delicate Operation.

There are mainly three types of Japanese Tilefish (Amadai) in Japan. While they are small as a jigging target, usually around 40cm, they are known for their exceptional taste and are highly valued. Their habitat depth varies by species: Shiro-amadai (White Tilefish) prefer 20–40m, Aka-amadai (Red Tilefish) and Ki-amadai (Yellow Tilefish) prefer 40–70m, and the 70–120m zone is primarily for Aka-amadai.

【Rod & Line】 Since Amadai live near the bottom, jigging that finely lures fish within a specific range is effective. Instead of big movements, it is important to carefully show the jig while maintaining the range. For rods, we select the DEEP LINER Logical #0 or #1, emphasizing compatibility with short-type jigs. The standard for PE line is #1–1.2.

【Jig】 Jigs that can be operated finely, from 1-pitch to 1/2, 1/4, or 1/8-pitch, are effective. Use jigs like Vib or Spindle in the 100–150g range.

This collection proposes items for enjoying Amadai-specific jigging, aimed with delicate operations and range control.
